The design of one key mode of slab combustion control system,the purpose is to achieve the process automation control of the slab charging,heating inside the furnace,discharging and to reduce the operator’s labor intensity, lower production costs, refining process to reduce human intervention significantly improve the effect of the combustion of the slab. Today, with the computer science,communication bus technology, control theory,the mathematical model widely used in metallurgical industry, for control precision and real-time to improve, make the technology of one key mode of slab conbustion become a realization.In this paper, based on the one key mode of slab combustion control system in regenerative heating furnace of1580HSM plant in Hebei Shougang Qian’an Iron&Steel Co..LTD,and refer to a large number of relevant literature, as the overview of the development of automatic combustion control system of the furnace, we mainly do about several design of the dynamic and static of automatic control of one key mode of slab combustion,the main content include:(1) Basic automatic control system,the main contents of the design are how the slab achieve the function of automatic position one the charge roller table after the slab No. check,how the charging machine judge the space in the furnace whether satisfied to achieve automatic slab charging,according to the target temperature of discharging,the rolling rhythm of the mill line,the setup time of the slab in the furnace,the walking beam system executes the action of forward-cycle,backward-cycle,hearth line control,and how the discharging machine judge the condition whether satisfied to achieve automatic slab discharing according to the discharing signal from the mill line,meanwhile the DCS system of the furnace’s body combustion achieve the setpoint value from the process automatic combustion model quickly,bring make the combustion control as the target temperature come true.(2) The technology of process automatic combustion control,the main contents of the design is the setup of the combustion temperature model with the slabs of different grade and charging temperature,through the mathematic formula and calculate the optimal heating temperature of each combustion zone which affected by every fator.To ensure that the process automatic combustion model is running ok,the basic automatic tracking of the slab in furnace is the foundation,the quickly response of the basic automatic combustion system is the condition.The result of this topic will represent the international advanced control level of the large walking beam regenerative heating furnace,it provides the data that the furnace can produce low energy consumption,high quality,eligible slab,and provides the valuable experience that we can optimize the production process and the control system in the further.
