This article compares the waste incineration technologies in China and abroad through projects in the aspect of waste incineration process control. The article puts emphasis on in-depth analyses of waste incineration control and suggest improvements on introduced technology. This creates a full-automatic waste incineration control theory which adapts to China’s local conditions. The article mainly contains the following contents:The article firstly introduces the importance of full-automatic control technology in the waste incineration field and describes the latest trend of the development of the full-automatic control technology, which has a great significance in the waste incineration field. The application of the technology into the system, especially the innovative applications, embodies the superior of the technology in different aspects. It not only enhances the stability of the system, saves human labor, but also improves the safety indicators of the whole system.Take real application in projects as an example, the Bao’an Phase II Wt E Plant use the FOXBORO I/A Series distributed control system, and the auxiliary control system uses Siemens PLC control technology for sub-system control. The whole control system uses multiple information technologies which connects different systems and realizes the full-automatic control of the whole facility.The article took deep research on the full-automatic control of the furnace and raise improvement suggestions based on China’s waste characteristics. The SIGMA control system exchanges data with the DCS system by the OPC information system and can be monitored at the DCS operation station. The system meets the requirements of boiler system and realizes full-automatic control of the whole system through oxygen content control, air-volume control, multi-level grate control and the boiler control system.The full-automatic control of grate in Bao’an Phase II Plant is the first example of applying the technology in China. This leading technology has a high value for such technology in China’s waste treatment field.
