| Since the1970s, the raw material of blast furnace mainly is sinter ore at home andabroad. Its quality directly affects the steel production’s quality and production, at the sametime, the energy consumption and business benefits are also affected by it. Sinter burdeningprocess is a complex industrial process, which contains many features like nonlinear,multi-variable and multi-interferential. The raw materials of blending process have manyvarieties, their qualities are complex and their components are volatile. The traditionalmethods of artificial ingredients are difficult to precisely control the indicators like iron grade,alkalinity and so on. Which leading to that the sinter productions’ quality is unstable and itsacceptance rate is low.For the above, the optimizing control system of metallurgy sinter burdening process isdesigned, which achieves the optimizing control of the flow of the raw materials, and asemi-physical simulation study is also made. The main contents are as follows:(1) A two-layer control structure of optimizing control system of sinter burdeningprocess is designed, which are optimization setting layer and flow loop control layer. Thefunction of optimization setting layer is that calculate with the optimization algorithm toobtain the optimizing setting point of the raw materials flow in each control loop. Thefunction of loop control layer is that control the raw materials flow real-time with PID controlalgorithm and make the actual value approach to the optimizing setting point.(2) ControlLogix control platform and NetLinx network architecture are established withRockwell PLC hardware and supporting software, in order to design the optimizing controlsystem of sinter burdening process.(3) A hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform of sinter burdening optimizing controlsystem is developed, which is primarily composed of optimization setting computer, PLCcontrol system, monitoring computer and model computer. As the platform contains RockwellPLC controller object, its simulation is closer to actual sense and the simulation result aremore reliable. Compared to field trails and independent simulation with MATLAB software,hardware-in-the-loop simulation has been greatly improved. |
