The material used in this project is taken from the Shanxi province. In the test, we chose the appropriate grinding aid to experience. By measuring grinding efficiency changes and changes of slurry flow characteristics of law the bauxite in the grinding process before and after adding.And combined with the determination of the indicators, such as:mineral grinding grain, milling machine, the fluidity of the grinding slurry, the potential of the slurry and particle shape of grinding mineral products, we study the effect ion of the grinding aid on the slurry fluidity, and reveal the way between the grinding aid and the bauxite. At the end we expound the mechanism of how the aid to enhance the grinding effect ion and reduce the energy consumption. This project set the seal on the foundation of the useation in the bauxite grinding process, and chose the appropriate grinding aid for the bauxite grinding.(1) Under the specified value of the green-ore condition,we study the affection of the grinding parameter on the grinding efficiency, and then we selected the optimal parameter. Such as:the match of the medium isΦ30mm:Φ20mm:Φ15mm=31%:23%:46%, the ratio of pellet is1.0, the density of the grinding is70%,the grinding time is30min.(2) Under the new optimal grinding parameter, we test the affections of aids’ condition on the grinding additive. From the test result, we can know that with the increasing of the grinding concentration and with the longer of the grinding time, the influence of the grinding aid is more significant. At the end, we confirm the grinding concentration is85%, grinding time is35min.(3) Under the new optimal grinding parameter, we test the aid’s (PAAS, MAH, DA dispersant and SHMP) influence of different dosage. When the dosage of SHMP is 0.5%, the yield of-0.074mm will increase3.73%. When the dosage of DA dispersant is0.5%, the yield of-0.074mm will increase3.64%. When the dosage of MAH is0.5%, the yield of-0.074mm will increase4.64%. When the dosage of PAAS is0.5%, the yield of-0.074mm will increase5.45%.(4) In the aiticle, we study the reason of the PAAS, MAH, DA dispersant and SHMP in terms of the pulp viscosity, surface electric potential of the particle, the surface appearance of the particle and the adsorption of the aid. The apply of the aid can drop the pulp viscosity, change the rheological behavior of the pulp, improve the grinding effectiveness, and then enhance grinding efficiency of the bauxite. The apply of the aid can infect the surface texture to reduce the surface strength of the ore, which is in favor of enhance the affections. The apply of the aid can enhance the repulsive force between the particles.
