Aluminum foam is light weight, high strength and good energy absorption, sound insulation, heat insulation, and electromagnetic shielding advantages, etc. It can be widely used in multiple areas of transportation, construction machinery, electronic communications, aerospace, environmental protection. But so far, it is not comprehensive enough for the basic theory of the melt foaming process, carbonate and hydride as a blowing agent for kinetic analysis and foaming experiments rarely see related reports.Thermal kinetic analytics plays a very important role in many fields. By measuring the physical properties of subject changing with temperature and it can confirm the information of changing progress. This paper will study the decomposition of the thermal kinetics by the basic theory and the method to establish the equation of the metal hydride dynamics. Via using the thermal theory and methods, In this thesis, we adopt the German NETZSCH STA449C thermal kinetic analytics machine to do some thermal analysis of carbonates and hydrides. By using the fittest control condition and changing the heating rate we can get some kinetic parameters. Basing on the theory of Arrhenius Equation and data analysis methods including ASTM E698, Friedman and FWO, we can calculate the TG amand DSC to get the dynamic equation of carbonates and hydrides, progression of reaction and energy of activation.Has explored a variety of blowing agents preparation of aluminum foam process parameters, and using the optimal process parameters to guide melt foaming experiments. To do the comprehensive comparison analysis about preparation of aluminum foam sample, including the average pore size, density, porosity and bubble uniformity, etc. While the weathering test, finding the difference before and after the change of comparative test sample. Comprehensive comparison shows the basis of data while hydride as a foaming agent to draw on:activation energy of thermal decomposition of the blowing agent is greater than47kJ· mol-1, is adapted as aluminum foam blowing agents, foaming hydride samples prepared uniform carbonate obtained is stronger than the sample; pore size and type of the foaming agent, a foaming agent hydride good weathering resistance.
