Using computer simulation technology to study the system analysis and control strategy design, technology of activated sludge wastewater treatment has become the research focus in the field of wastewater treatment. In foreign countries, ASM series of activated sludge model of International Water Association publication has obtained the widespread application, and developed many excellent simulation software, but only at the start stage in the domestic, the domestic sewage treatment field of study is still in the traditional experimental study based on stage. A lot of time and physical experiments are needed in sewage treatment research, which limits the development of sewage treatment technology. In order to solve the above problem, this article uses the ASM1model as the research object, establishes the system model of activated sludge wastewater treatment, and provides a simulation software that can be used in sewage processing theory and the control strategy of treatment based on the VC2005platform using C++language.Firstly, the city sewage treatment method was reviewed, and several typical activated sludge process and its development course and status were introduced in detail. Secondly, the white box model of two sedimentation tank, aeration tank and dissolved oxygen are established based on in-depth research on the mechanism model, and the simulation system of sewage treatment was set up completely with pre denitrification process as the simulation object. Finally, two water quality transformation models are established according to the sewage treatment plant on the actual measurement.By using COST simulation benchmark model for steady state verification, simulation results are very close with the reference value. The19parameter’s sensitivity of ASM1model is analyzed, and the influence of each parameter on the model components has been gotten. The dynamic model are simulated by actual wastewater treatment plant data, combined the correction with the sensitivity of model. The results showed that the model can accurately simulate the operating situation of the sewage treatment plant.The outside control experiments to dissolved oxygen are carrying out by the control software and PLC of Siemens, and a control strategy is designed.
