We are in developing countries, coal play an important role in energy source. However, with the large amount of mechanization input, dust problem also become increasingly serious, The existence of underground dust threats worker’s health and safety, Therefore, it must take some effective measures to prevent and treat mine dust. Based on the dust status of the coal face, it is bound to be the focus of prevention and control area of dust problem. This thesis designed to a spray dust suppression system is on the basis of reference to various domestic and international coal dust control technology, according to the status of our country’s coal mine fully mechanized mining face, which can effectively achieve real-time data exchange and is controlled by CAN Field Bus. The system consists of a master controller module and a spray controller module. Among them, the main controller recepts single of the dust concentration of each spray controller detecting. Sends control commands for each spray controller after operation processing and setting spray pattern. Real-time monitoring of mechanized mining face state. Each spray controller completes Real-time detect signal of dust concentration, uploads these signals to the master by CAN bus and receives spray instruction issued by the master, interact data. The system master controller uses STM32family of microprocessor, spray controller uses51series, CAN bus interface with the bus controller of SJA1000and the bus driver of CTM1050. The studies show that the system can effectively detect dust concentration, accurately do spray dust and to achieve the desired purpose of the design. This design reasonable is feasible.
