In the field of machinery manufacturing, there were difficult issues to share data in CAXwith different systems. In the meantime, CAM was the key technology to reform thetraditional manufacturing process, The traditional CNC machining had been unable to meetthe changing market demands. For porous molds CNC machining, there were still manyproblems, such as: the tedious process of machining operations, weak integration capacity,general poor, heavy workload, duplication of large, inefficient, and very prone to error, NCcode quality bad. It is difficult to ensure the accuracy of mold. IIPA processing method wasproposed in this paper, studying STEP neutral file as the media, optimizing the porous type ofmold NC.First of all, in-depth analysis of the composition of STEP neutral file structure on thebasis of data, the mechanism had been mapped between EXPRESS and C++, and a lexicalanalyzer had been designed for a neutral file for entity information extracted. With completedexpression of the various entities in a neutral file instantiation, a good foundation for a neutralfile and extract entity information integration was built.With the syntactic pattern recognition method of boundary information identifying,information extraction module was built so that to extract valid entity information from STEPneutral file, and KMP was used to improve search efficiency string. It was the necessary workfor IIPA CNC machining methods proposed.IIPA CNC machining methods was proposed, applied to the porous molds CNCmachining. With genetic algorithms, porous class mold machining path was defined and CNCmachining path was optimized. An automatic programming method was proposed, which theeffective entity information was imported to NC code templates by integrated treatment. Andthen it was come true to achieve mold automatic programming, automatic processing. Finally,a case study in car cover mold model analog processing, the experiments showed that themethod was feasible, improving the efficiency and accuracy of CNC machining greatly.
