The main study in this paper is the system about reconsitution of shoe last surface.This system achieved visual interaction design or parametric design in the Matlabplatform, which has a highly automation. The interface designed in this system havecharacters of simplicity and convenience in operation.The study divided into fourmajor sections.1) The foot pressure is collected while walking, Foot pressure is processedaccording to the theory of foot comfort. The relative position between the outline ofshoe last bottom and pressure data Changed by interaction. Then, the pressure data isprojected onto the corresponding position of shoe last bottom by linear interpolation,which change the concavity and convexity of shoe last bottom surface to improve thecomfort of foot while walking.2) Four spline drive curves, which express characteristic of shoe last toe, isstructured. The drive curves are amended by interface interaction. The reconsitution ofshoe last toe surface is achieved based on the drive curves after amended and the sectiontransformation of shoe last ring.3) Two feature sections are extracted from shoe last data by interaction. The datarings in particular area of shoe last are transformed. The gap produced above iseliminated by homogenizing dispose. Parameterization and interface interaction aredesigned for improting the value of shoe last toe spring and heel height, and then theshoe last surface is builded according the value of shoe last toe spring and heel height.4) The plantar girth, instep girth and bottom width of shoe last is extracted.Hermite spread spline is structured based on interpolation nodes which are the ratiosbetween parameters value extracted above and its design value. The reconsitution ofshoe last surface is achieved by section transformation based on the spread curve.
