The requirements of same small shaft parts straightness are very high dueto its important function. According to CJA40-20type automatic straighteningpress’s technical requirements, this paper designed an online detection system,including the design of the detection device, the detection device parameteroptimization, the theory of online detection system and software of onlinedetection system.In this paper, the least squares method has been used to calculate theroundness and round of Small shaft parts, and verify its correctness withMATLAB software simulation experiments. Using simulation experiments tofigure out the effect of different number of sampling points to the onlinedetection system, to determine a reasonable threshold of sampling points andreduce the cost of product. According to the initial bending situation of thestraightening workpiece and the structure parameters of the roller frictiondriving device, the equation between the driving torque and the pressure isestablished.For problems encountered in the design process, According to theanalysis and calculation of the non-superposition error of benchmark caused bybenchmark transferred, the problem encounted in the design pross.Doingexperiments with CJA40-20type automatic straightening press.The results ofthe experiments show that the secondary fitting method can reach the technicalrequirements CJA40-20type automatic straightening press.
