This paper does research on diameter and roundness error which encounters during machining process of large rotary body parts,presents an online and non-contact measurement for large rotary components diameter and roundness error.Also we do some measurement of diameter and roundness error analysis,and propose the solution.The design uses laser displacement detection of laser measuring system,photoelectric position sensor PSD,grating distance detection system,electrical measurement and control system and computer control and data processing system,and discuss in detail.The author gives a detailed analysis of the system error sources and effect to the precision,and gives the error analysis results at the same time.The paper introduces the whole system composition,basic structure and specific components of description and so on,designs the testing electrical circuit.measurement and control programme and interface,besides does test experiment on parts and analyses the diameter and roundness error,proposes several reasons of measurement for diameter and roundness error. at last, this paper provides effective method for large rotary parts diameter and roundness error detection.
