This paper takes the biggest scale180,000t/a Methyl tert-butyl ether process units of domestic some Chemicals as research objects. First, the process units were simulated by utilizing chemical process simulation software PRO Ⅱ.After that, the key process parameters and plant parameters of the process units were analyzed making use of above simulation programs to improve the process and operational parameters.Reaction section, reaction distillation section and methanol recovery section were simulated respectively in this paper. The PRO II simulation programs were improved by comparing with the actual production data, while the improved simulation programs were used to analyze process and device parameters. In the process of analysis, the key parameters range or optimum values were determined to guide the actual production or the design of the similar equipment. The effect of reactor operating pressure and outside loop rate of the first and the second etherification reactors on the reaction section were analyzed. When analyzing reaction distillation section, the temperature, flow rate and distribution of composition of reaction distillation column were firstly discussed. Then, the operating pressure, reflux ratio, catalyst and the catalyst loading position of catalytic distillation column were analyzed. In the process of analyzing methanol recovery section, the reflux ration of methanol recovery column was analyzed. This paper is successful. Because, the result of parameters by simulation analysis is consistent or similar, the scale of180,000t/a is the biggest in domestic. With the increasing domestic demand for MTBE, plant scale demand expansion has begun to show. Thins paper provides a strong theoretical opportunity for this demand...
