Synthesis of water-soluble polymer in aqueous two-phase system is a new polymerization method. In the dissertation, the main research work is to increase of starch grafted matter content of solid in aqueous two-phase system.According to the characteristics of aqueous two-phase system, select different polymer as dispersant. In different disperse system, synthesize high content of starch grafted matter. The starch graft acrylamide polymerization in aqueous two-phase of PVP use as dispersion medium is studied. The results show that:using PVP as dispersion medium, PVP and St-g-AM constitute aqueous two-phase. The mass of PVP is8%, temperature is35℃, n(KMnO4):n(AM)=8.0×10-3:1,n(KMnO4):n(H+)=1:14, and the production of monomer conversion is99.82%, grafting ratio is149.26%, grafting efficiency is99.70%, intrinsic viscosity number is448.84mL/g, solid content is16.7%. To further improve the grafted polymer solid content, add the nonionic surfactant to aqueous two-phase system. Research the behavior of nonionic surfactant in aqueous two-phase system. Adding the Tween nonionic surfactant to aqueous two-phase system has obvious effect. The better conditions are as follows:temperature is50℃, the mass of Tween-80is2%, the mass of PEG is10%, n(KMnO4):n(AM)=6.0×10-4:1,n(KMnO4):n(H+)=1:20, and the production of monomer conversion is99.71%, grafting ratio is139.14%, grafting efficiency is95.65%, intrinsic viscosity number is477.63mL/g, solid content is25%.Synthesize of the anionic type starch grafted copolymer in aqueous two-phase system. Can be produced with low viscosity, high solid content, and divided into two layers. Upper is clear and good fluidity, lower is polymer of high viscosity. The results show that:n(AM): n(AA)=4:1, neutralization degree of acrylic is70%,n(NH4)2S2O8+NaHSO3]:n(AM+AA)=7.0×10-4:1, the mass of PEG is10%; polymerization temperature is45℃. Under these conditions, the production of monomer conversion is99.50%, graft ratio is267.51%, the grafting efficiency is97.36%, intrinsic viscosity number is686.87mL/g.
