Deformation of steeply inclined adjacent ore body interlayer which caused by repeatedmining is a complex mechanical process.As the great differences of orebody occurrenceconditions in the case of different depth. The nonlinear characteristics of the deformationprocess was uncertain. Meanwhile, multiple stress redistribution and the blasting damagewithin the rock caused by repeated mining. Research on the laws of the interlayer deformationand stress distribution can not only guide the safety production of steeply inclined ore bodyadjacent but also have the reference significance to the mining of thin ore vein group and veindeposit. In this paper, on the basis of the engineering background of steeply inclined adjacentore body in Huibaoling. Then on the basis of the analysis summary of existing research results,combined with theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and engineering examples.Analyzed the deflection formula of the simplified model and stability formula on account ofthe small deflection theory and the principle of minimum potential energy. The cuspcatastrophe theory was used to analyze the general rules of the interlayer deformationinstability.And then derivated the function relation about interlayer displacement energy andtime, and quantitative predicted interlayer deformation. Based on the numerical simulationsoftware FLAC3D to study mining influence of the steeply inclined adjacent ore bodyoverhead mining and the different mining sequences in stage ore block. Based on the indexesof surface subsidence and the distribution of plastic zone,to get the optimal mining sequencesof steeply inclined adjacent ore body.And optimize the mining methods, etc. The mainresearch contents and conclusions are as follows:Firstly, according to the special form of steeply inclined adjacent ore body. Simplifiedthe system into sheet model in different boundary conditions along the strike direction.Deduced stability calculation formula in combination with the small deflection theory and theprinciple of minimum potential energy. The basic characteristics of plane strain was used tosimplify the system, as a compression bar in the vertical toward the direction of ore bodies.Applicated the cusp catastrophe theory to explain the interlayer instability was caused bysystem balance through the middle.Secondly, by indoor rock mechanics test to obtain the main mining area of rockmechanics parameters and engineering treatment.According to the necessary and sufficient condition of system instability, height of room and the length along the strike direction of thefunction was deduced in the critical situation of system instability. Based on the research ofthe relationship between interlayer displacement, potential energy, time and the interlayerdeformation analysis.Acquired a function about the maximal interlayer displacement andtime.And predict the maximum value of interlayer displacement in higher middle part.Thirdly, FLAC3D numerical simulation software was used to study the stress changerule and the law of the interlayer displacement. By simulated the overhead mining of thesteeply inclined adjacent ore body and the different mining sequences in stage ore block forthe stress distribution diagram in front of steeply inclined adjacent ore body. Stress changesby parabola type can be divided into four categories. Divided Stress changes into fourcategories by parabola type. It is concluded that the most advantageous to maintain groundpressure stability of mining is double wings outward mining.Finally, through the five indexes about surface movement state and the plastic zonedistribution to select mining sequences of phase.At the same time the general rule of surfacemovement state were analyzed. Contraposed the main disadvantage in sublevel mining, suchas many preparation roadways, large mining preparation coefficient, etc. Put forward wholestage high combination chisel blasting mining method used for the thickness of ore sectionwas more than8m.And introduced the stope layout, process principle and process of thismining method.
