The failed mine shaft liners through deep overburden have a significant impact on the production of coal mine. It has come to the point where it is urgent to make the mechanism of failed mine shaft liners clear and put forward the corresponding repair measures.The vertical force is given priority to the form of failed mine shaft liners by adopting the combination of hydrological and geological conditions of Qiuji coal mine. Determining that the failed mine shaft liner is caused by the settlement of overburden according to the subsequent theoretical analysis.The method of pressure released chamfer to repair failed mine shaft liners is feasible through ANSYS numerical calculation. The vertical stress in inner shaft can release36.4%when the well with a pressure released chamfer, The vertical stress in inner shaft can release56.5%when the well with two pressure released chamfers.The pressure in the inner shaft wall with pressure released chamfer is lower than the shaft wall without pressure released chamfer according to the model tests and numerical simulation.The paper provides the measure that combines pressure released chamfer, backfill grouting and reinforcement with H steel and sleeve to repair the failed mine shaft liners and the parameters of them in view of the cause of main shaft and auxiliary shaft to guarantee the feasibility of repair and treatment.The dynamic monitoring data for more than two years shows that the shaft wall of main shaft and auxiliary shaft are under control.The practices show the achievements reliable.The research achievements are of instructive significance in repair for failed mine shaft liners in the sedimentation strata.
