By the continuous ABE fermentation, we completed the modeling and simulation of the steady-state and dynamic. When we complete the simulation of the steady state,we uses appropriate thermodynamic equation and reasonable assumption,the calculation results are trustworthy. When we complete the simulation of dynamic, we complete the simulation of distillation processe, the key design parameters and the value of calculation are in good agreement.The continuous ABE fermentation consists of three parts. The first part is reaction part, which is composed of two fermentation tanks and one micro-filtration membrane.Two fermentation tanks are divided into a first fermentation tank and a second fermentation tank. The second part is pervaporation, which concentrate low concentration solution of ABE into high concentration solution of ABE. The third part is distillation section. In this part, the product of ABE and waster water is made.For this process, we use the exact physical parameters, NRTL thermodynamic equations, equilibrium flash model, pervaporation model and other tools to complete the steady state simulation of the total process. Each part of the process parameters were analyzed.Then based on the steady state simulation,the dynamic simulation of distillation process is finished.Through the above work, we understand the nature of the continuous ABE fermentation in each part,and get particular technological parameter. These parameters help people design and optimize practical process.
