Flying shear is mainly used to cut the strip which is moving from landscape orientation, causes the steel rolling to produce continuous, raises the productivity greatly.Flying shear's function is to cut the moving strip from landscape orientation, for reliable structure and higher cutting precision, it was widely used in the strip processing line of metallurgy profession.At present,some of this kind of flying shear are imported from foreign country with holistic advanced equipment,the others are manufactured in domestic,but the control of flying shear is always devised by foreign independently. The flying shear of zinc electroplating strip processing line of Baoshan Steel Corporation new imported is imported form foreign,but the control system is devised by Baoshan Steel Corporation independently, so it needs more deepth research on flying shear's configuration characteristic and process planning.This paper is through the theory research as well as using the SolidWorks software to carries on the entity modelling,and using SolidWorks/COSMOS Motion to make dynamic simulation.From these software,it can get many usefull date,then analyse the simulation date, and unify these date with the Baoshan Steel Corporation's production practice experien-ce.Through analysing the flying shear's configuration characteristic and work theory and doing theory analysis on movement characteristic and trail, start/stop control,synchroniza-tion of flying shear control and adjusting length in fixture size,it can make foundtion for Baoshan Steel Corporation devising control system independently.For attaining the cutting quality,it needs strict and exact process planning.This paper also make a discussion on one flying shear actualizing different sheared length. After theoretical analysis and computation, making a frequency-change speeding on motor mayactualize the above item.Under making sure synchronization of flying shear,this paper presented two concrete proposals of frequency-change speeding on motor to achieve sampling function.And earring on the computation of motor's electric current after frequency-change speeding,to make sure the motor can run safely under the flying shear run exactly.
