The main company in industrial park in Northwest Hubei is the chemical synthesisof pharmaceutical enterprises, which mixed mainly production wastewater and smallamount of domestic sewage and then centralized treatment. For the effluent quality ofthe treatment process applied now(reaction sedimentation tank+hydrolysis-acidification pool+MBR+disinfection pool) can not reached "the dischargestandards chemical synthesis of pharmaceutical industrial water pollution"(GB21904-2008),using iron-cabron micro-electrolysis as the front strengthenedpretreatment process of the origin treatment has been put forward.We get the optimumprocessing parameters of iron-cabron micro-electrolysis through studying and analyzingsingle factor experiment and orthogonal experiment.The optimum operation parametersof the synthetic pharmaceutical wastewater by iron-carbon micro-electrolysis aspretreatment are listed as follows, the iron carbon dosage is400g/L, the iron carbonratio is4:5,the reaction time is3h, pH is4. The influent COD is6090mg/L,while theeffluent COD is2627mg/L,so the removal rate of COD is56.87%when the dosingparameters used to re-test verification,that is indeed the highest value.In themeantime,we use wastewater as the study object to calculation and linear fitting therelationship between the COD of the iron-carbon micro-electrolysis effluent and time,finally found that the COD degradation of the pharmaceutical wastewater by theiron-carbon micro-electrolysis largely in line with the first-order reactionkinetics, the linear fitting for “-ln (Ci/C0)=0.00466t+0.01054”, which the correlation isup to0.9937.It turns out that the iron-carbon micro-electrolysis plays a major role inCOD removal by this processing of degrading the synthetic pharmaceutical wastewater.The combination treatment process”iron-carbon micro-electrolysis/hydrolysisacidification/MBR” simulating the original process is built to pilot test based on singlefactor experiment and orthogonal experiment.The pilot test shows that the pretreatmenteffect is better as the removal rate of COD is47.42%by iron-carbonmicro-electrolysis.After that process,wastewater biochemical rised from0.23to0.38,which greatly enhanced the operating effect of the following process.The finaleffluent COD of the pilot test can reach "the discharge standards chemical synthesis ofpharmaceutical industrial water pollution "(GB21904-2008).
