Through additional fields to influence gas mining is a relatively newmode of mining, and It can provide a security for mining jobs, but it still need tobe further studied and discussed. In this paper, by investigating the influence ongas adsorption under the effect of constant electric field, and the gas adsorptionamount was analyzed and deduced, Finally the specific expression wasconcluded.By investigating,coal belong to the amorphous solid dielectric species,and it is a kind of typical dielectric material, and the conductive ability is one ofthe features for the coal. Putting the system of the coal and gas in a constantelectric field, the coal conductive ability become stronger, and the system canproduce the Joule Heating Effect and polarization effect.Putting coal and gas system in the constant electric field, on the onehand, due to the Joule Heating Effect and the temperature of the system will rise,temperature will make the desorption in the system. On the other hand, as aresult of the action of a constant electric field, the depth of coal surfaceadsorption potential well deepened, which can make the gas adsorption volume increases.Due to these two factors work together to the system, so the finaladsorbance is determined by competition jointly by the two relations. When dueto the increase of the adsorption potential well depth plays a leading role, gasadsorption volume will increase with the increase of the voltage; when thetemperature rising caused by the Joule Heating Effect as a major factor, gasadsorption volume will reduce with the increase of the voltage. The end result isthat the rise trend of gas adsorption volume along with the voltage is a type ofparabolic that the trend is increased first and then decreased. So there is a criticalpoint in the process of change, at this point, the adsorption capacity will reachthe maximum value.This article is divided into three parts to deduct the critical value ofgas adsorption volume. Firstly: analysing the relationship between thetemperature rise caused by Joule Heating with the gas adsorption volume, andthen it is concluded that the theoretical relationship between the gas adsorptionvolume with the voltage through the relationship transform based on thetemperature rising as a major factor; Secondly: determining the relationshipbetween the gas adsorption volume with voltage when the increase of theadsorption potential well depth plays a key role. Thirdly: fitting the relationshipbetween the gas adsorption volume and voltage, finally it is concluded that thetheoretical relationship between total adsorption volume with the voltage.In this paper, using the related experimental data to prove the critical value of gas adsorption volume is real under the effect of constant electric field.In addition to the research provides a train of thought in the research field of thegas adsorption regularity in the constant electric field.
