Diarylketones have been widely used as final products or intermediates in the field of dyes,pharmaceuticals,agricultural chemicals and so on,they also play an important role in the national economy. Nowadays,the preparation of diarylketones still involves the employment of metal chlorides as the homogeneous acid catalysts,those environmentally unfriendly catalysts have always been an issue in the long-term application in industries,so the inventment of "environment friendly catalyst" has become an important field of chemistry and chemical industry.The solid superacid catalyst played a more and more important part in eradicating the "Three kinds of trashes" and protecting the environment.Therefore,the study of developing new catalysts for the diarylketones becomes important and critical.We made a study of the solid superacid catalyst’s utilization in diarylketones preparation using tetrachloride carbon as acyl reagent,which have very important application in industries.This dissertation is consisted of two parts.The synthesis of diarylketones and the synthesis of aromatic hydrozones which are the derivatives of arylketones.As we know,tetrachloride carbon(CTC)is an ozone depleting substance(ODS).The mainly use as feedstock of chlorofluorocarbons (CFC),chemical process agent and cleaning solvent is restricted.In constrast,the feedstock use of CTC in producing non-ODS producting is not restricted,hence the development of CTC conversion technology is an urgent subject.In our research,We first pay attention to the synthesis of 4, 4’-dihydroxybenzophenone which is an important intermediate in chemical industry in a new method.We used phenol and tetrachloride carbon as starting materials,lewis acid as catalyst to produce 4, 4’-dihydroxybenzophenone,the yield is 60.2%.This method has not been reported before in domestic,it has shorter technic route and higher yield comparered with traditional technics,and also give a new way to consume superfluous tetrachloride carbon.Then,we use SO42-/Fe2O3 which made by ourselves instead of lewis acid to catalyze this reaction,reaction temperature,catalyst amount and the reusable of the solid superacid are reaschered.The use of this solid super acid in catalyzing other arene and tetrachloride carbon to produce diarylketones was also studied,we found the SO42-/Fe2O3 have a good activity.The estimation of input wastage, output,cost and profit during the craft has been conducted and indicate a good industrial prospect.The second part is the synthesis of aromatic hydrozone.Aromatic hydrozone have been extensively investigated due to their numerous medicinal properities,such as antimicrobial,antitubercular,anticovulsant and anti-inflammatory activiry.We use diarylketone reacted with hydrate hydrazine,got seven new aromatic hydrozone.
