As the amphiphilic polymer containing hydrophilic group and hydrophobic group, it is different from low molecule surfactant and ion polymer .It has special self-assembly behavior and interface decorated ability, so it is more concerned by scientists now. While polysiloxane is another kind of functional material, it has higher bone energy, heat resistance, oxidation resistance and climate resistance, etc... Amphiphilic silicone polymer combines the merits of both amphiphilic polymer and polysiloxane, it has low suface tension, good wetting, good emulsification, it can be used together with other additives, and no side effect to fabrics or skin. The defoaming is stable, and the defoaming effect is also excellent, so it is widely used in the textile-finishing fields, leather fields and so on. Besides, it plays an important part in the superior shampoo conditioner and effective polymeric antimicrobial agent. Nowdays, scientists pay more attention on polysiloxane-polyether than cationic amphiphilic silicone polymer .So the study on cationic amphiphilic silicone polymer is significance. In this paper, two serieses of amphiphilic silicone polymers with different number of cationic group were synthesized .Firstly, Silicone monomers were copolymerized with the method of alkaline catalyzed copolymerization reaction to prepare two serieses of polysiloxanes containing tertiary amido. One series was made from D4、HD-121 ; the other was made from D4、HD-121、HD-109 . The influencing factors of reaction temperature、reaction time、the dosage of end-capper and catalyst on the viscosity of polysiloxane containing tertiary amido were discussed .The optimum condition was :KOH 0.1% ,MM 0.2% , under 130°C ,D4 and KOH were stired for 2 h ,then add coupling agent to stir for 5 h under 0.01 MPa vacuum .On this basis , two serieses of polysiloxanes containing cationic group were synthesized by selecting appropriate quaternary ammonium agent. One series was polysiloxane containing soluble cationic group .The structure is as follows: Aonther series was polysiloxane containing both soluble cationic group and hydrophobic hydrocarbon chain. The structure is as follows:In the meanwhile, the influences of solvent dosage, reaction temperature and time on the cationic amphiphilic polymer were discussed. The optimum condition was reaction for 5 h at 80℃with the same weight of isopropanol as solvent. Some structures of the two kinds of polysiloxanes were characterized by the FTIR, ~1HNMR.The surface properties of these amphiphilic silicone polymers were studied, the experiments showed that with the increasing of cationic group, the polymer became more soluble, the surface tension of its emulsion (solution) got a little down; with the same cationic group, the injection of long hydrocarbon chain increased the surface tension of emulsion (solution). The cationic amphiphilic silicone polymer emulsion (solution) was used as textile finishing agents on the cotton and polyester. The influences of cationic amphiphilic silicone polymer emulsion (solution) on the softness, whiteness and hydrophilic property of the white cotton and polyester were studied, The influences on the K/S, fastness of dyeing cotton and polyester were also studied .The experiments showed that it can impart good softness and whiteness to cotton fabric and polyester, Meanwhile, hydrophilic property of the finished fabric had been improved. The K/S of the treated fabrics of blue and red had no obvious change; the K/S of the treated fabric of yellow had a little change. The wet rubbing fastness and speckle fastness of the treated cotton fabric were a little enhanced; among those, the effect of the cationic amphiphilic silicone polymer with long hydrocarbon chain was more obvious. The wet rubbing fastness of polyester had no change.
