As an important textile material, Wool Fabric have good elasticity, insulation andmoisture. In addition its absorption and release humidity function is excellent.. WoolFabric have unique excellent properties such as being difficult to be dirty, soft luster,soft hand feeling, wear light and comfortable. The properties of wool fabrics givefabrics a variety of unique style, but also it can be weaved all kinds of advancedgarment fabric. But It is easy to breed bacteria in the wool fabric. Antibacterial finishingin wool fiber has been gradually applied in textile field. It will become research focus indomestic and overseasIn this paper, Firstly, Poly siloxane quaternary ammonium salt antibacterial agentwas synthesized by dimethyl carbonate,fourteen alkyl tertiary amine,hydrochloric acidand amino silicone emulsion which number-average molecular weight is eight thousand.We analyzed the chemical structure of polysiloxane quaternary ammonium saltantimicrobial by infrared spectroscopy method, at the same time tested antibacterialeffect of antibacterial agents.Secondly, the antibacterial finishing of wool fabrics was carried out by using thepoly siloxane quaternary ammonium salt antibacterial agent compound antibacterialagent following the finishing process of pad-drying. The comparison test was carriedout. Then we anlysised how process parameters influented on fabric antibacterial effect,grafted adsorption rate, whiteness and breaking strength effect. The result suggested thatthe best finishing process parameters as follow. The antiseptic finishing liquidconcentration was10g/L of and the bath rate was1:30, pH was6and curingemperature was120℃. The rate of antibacterial fabric against S.aureus and E.coli wasmore than99%, the rate of antibacterial of antibacterial Fabric maintained above80%after washed30times.In this article,the structure of subsequent antibacterial wool fiber were discussed indetail by Scanning Electronic Microscope(SEM),and Fourier Transformation Infrared Spectrum(FTIR). The results showed that new absorption peaks which are Si-O-Sistretch vibration and Si-O-C symmetrical stretching vibration absorption bandsappeared in the antibacterial wool fiber;an antibacterial layer was formed on the surfaceof wool fiber by covalent bonding; the fiber crystallinity has small effect; fiber thermaltransition behavior and thermal stability had no obvious change.
