The Research On The Producing Technologies Of Pre-painted Color-coated Steel Products For Appliance

The proportion of pre-painted steel for appliance has been 10% of the total production in 2006 as the NCCA and ECCA. The end use is building mainly in China, the pre-painted steel for appliance was less than 5%. Baosteel explored the pre-painted steel for appliance from 1996, but it was not succeeded for the equipment and market. In 2001 Baosteel began researching the appliance product again, because of the problem on mechanical properties、surface、sheeting、processing ,the production was not all right.After studying the key influences on surface quality and improved the production processing technologies, we produce the advances surface quality products successfully. By the way of 6sigma DMAIC, we analyze the efficiency of production. Now Baosteel pre-painted steel has applied in fridge, air conditioner, micro-wave oven, washing machine , DVD and so on. The production in 2004-2006 is 4.5 times of that in 2003, the friendly products have been confirmed by more and more customer.
