Based on the technical parameters, quality matter and character of polymeric materials and its products, the statistical method such as orthogonal array design, pareto diagram, histogram, significance testing, fuzzy mathematics have been used to carry out a series of study. By doing so, the inherence relationship and variance property, degree and reason of polymeric materials and its products have been obtained; it could get better improved by adopting correcting measure.The issues have been resolved through study:a) The experimental times were reduced by using orthogonal array design; the order of the influence because of parameters changing such as mould temperature, catalyst dosage, isocyanate exponent, raw materials temperature, and foaming agent dosage on the central temperature of foam system and the maximum foaming pressure had been obtained; Furthermore, it was confirmed that the best mould temperature was about 45 , and the range of isocyanate exponent was between 1.05~1.10.b) Based on the questionnaire and the causal chart, the main factor which influenced the PRU foam product's appearance quality had been ascertained. By taking measure efficiently, the product's appearance quality could be improved evidently.c) The reason which caused the quality problem during producing PUR and silicon foam had been analyzed and classified by using questionnaire and pareto diagram, the sort and attribute of the quality problem could be found out and ensure the main reason.d) In light of that the histogram of silicon foam products density were not the normal distribution, the prescription and techniques had been adjusted and improved to control the producing process statistically.e) From the X -R control figure, we could find out that the products were under control,and provided the reason how to supervise the rigidity fluctuation.f) From FTA analyzing, we could obtain the main factor which influenced the PUR product's quality and how to take measure.g) By using W-test, t-test, the density of PUR products complied with the normal distribution; however, the group of A and B had little difference, could get combined.h) By analyzing the correlation between the density and the compress distortion ratio, it was found out that there was linear relationship. The compress distortions descend with density increasing. Furthermore, the closer function relationship between two factors was worked out.i) The method of fuzzy mathematics could be used to evaluate the satisfactory degree of clients, and to find out the projects which must be improved, in order to attain the aim of meeting the needs of the clients thoroughly.
