Nickel Minerals of Jinchuan Nickel Mine are mainly composed of copper-nickel sulfides. Enhancing the recovery rate of Jinchuan Company Nickel Mine resources is Significant. At present, one of the problems that existing in mineral processing is the winter flotation indexes obvious lower than in summer. We synthesized some new flotation reagent instead of local reagent as frother in order to improve the winter indexes.Numerous methods to synthesize the flotation reagents and their applications in industry were reviewed in this thesis. Some new flotation reagents based on hydrazinecarbodithioate were synthesized and the reacting conditions were optimized. Through applications of these compounds in the flotation of Nickel-copper ores in Jinchuan, the properties and the performance were studied. The new collect-frothers that were mainly composed with P407 were prepared and were used in the flotation experiments. It is proved that the grade of concentrate was higher than old reagents suites and the recovery of the nickel and copper are improved. Test proved that using new reagent can get better results. As a new type of sulfide ores collect-frothers of high flotation properties, P407 is likely to be used successfully in the mineral processing industry.By adjusting the pH value of pulp, we discovered that when the pH<6 and pH>10, the recovery of the nickel and copper is improved. And when we raised the temperature of pulp higher than 60℃, the recovery of the nickel and copper is the highest.
