As the largest nickel raw material manufacturers in china,Jinchuan corporation occupies an important position in China's nickel industry.With the mining of nickel ore,the nature of the ore are showing more and more complicate,detailed,and poverty status,and the flotation index varies with seasonal fluctuations.In order to adapt to the changing nature of the variety of nickel ore,as well as to improve the flotation operations flotation,developing a new generation of flotation agent is imminent.In this paper,the technology status quo of the current sulfide ore flotation,the mechanism of action of flotation reagents,the research overview of flotation reagent synthesis are all elaborated.At the same time the optimization of the production conditions of the new flotation reagents HHN,the industrial production,and the application of the HHN were successfully achieved.Numbers of laboratory flotation tests showed that the "HHN+NS-2" pharmaceutical combination exhibited stable blistering capacity and significant collective ability.Compared to the old pharmaceutical combination(J-622 + CuSO4),the recycling rate of nickel and copper separately increased by 1.82%and 0.8%.In 2011,the application of HHN was carried out in the forth workshop system(1500t/d)in ore-dressing plant of the Jinchuan corporation.Industrialization results showed that:comparation to the current pharmaceutical combination,the recycling rate of nickel and copper rised by 3.04%and 2.04%.The whole flotation process inspection results show that the new pharmaceutical enrichment of nickel and copper metal was significantly superior to the scene pharmacy(J-622).The success of this new type of pharmaceutical contains a,good prospects for industrial application,with vastly economic and social benefits.In addition,the Schiff base type of collector was designed and synthesized.The flotation test results showed that compared to the current pharmacy,the Schiff based flotation agents performed stronger collecting ability but weaker foaming ability,which needed to be further studied.
