Starch Alkyl Polyglucosides Surfactant,biosurfactant which have moer advantages than traditional surfactants, possess some special performances, such as, no toxicity, no irritancy a nd prompt biodegradation,etc..Therefore,they have been more and more popular in many fields. This paper, has sweet potato starch, ethylene glycol and higher alcohol as raw materials, transglycosylation synthesis of the alkyl chain length of C8-C10, C12 Starch Alkyl Polyglucosides Surfactant.Refined products gave an Alkylpolyglucosides with residual glucose< 0.5%, residual fatty alcohol<1%. The factor of starch APG glycoside transfer rate, the product color, the average degree of polymerization (DP) have been study with the synthesis process conditions change.The color of Starch Alkyl Polyglucosides is sensitive to effects of reaction temperature and catalyst concentration,When the reaction temperature between 110-120℃, PH control product of good color in 3-6 hours, the products colour were good.When the mass ratio of starch and higher alcohol about 1:1, the catalyst content of 1.0% of the total system, the reaction temperature between 110-120℃, the glycoside transfer rate can be to 98%.The effects of that mass ratio of starch and higher alcohol, reaction time, reaction temperature change,etc..on the products of polymerization degree have been discussed, When the proportion of higher alcohol and starch in 1:2-4, the reaction temperature at 115±5℃, reaction time 3-5h, we can meet the standards required by the degree of polymerization products. The samples were derived from conditions of exploration, through experimental research, when the silane reagent trimethylchlorosilane to 0.1mL, heating 60min at 70℃for the best derivatization reaction conditions.The influence law of starch alkyl chain length of APG on the performance have been study. When the DP of products was certain, the foaming of starch APG is lowered with alkyl chain enhanced, the stability of foam is increased with the alkyl chain is enhanced; When the DP of products was certain, the alkyl based chain longer, the better the emulsifying power. The influence of the C12 starch APG changes in the average degree of polymerization on its performance have been study, the conclusion that degree of polymerization of Starch Alkyl Polyglucosides in the 1.10-1.40 range, the foaming properties was declined with the average degree of polymerization increased, but the stability enhanced with the increased of polymerization degree; The DP of Starch APG in between 1.10-1.40, the emulsifying properties increased with the degree of polymerization increased firstly and then decreased slightly, when the degree of polymerization about 1.20 or so, C12 starch best emulsifying properties of APG. The Scouring agent was maded by anionic/nonionic surfactant mixture,the best formula was that 3% AES、5% AEO-9、5% 6501、7% Starch Alkyl Polyglucosides Surfactant formed when washing selected, washed wool quality has risen markedly, up to 70% of its brightness, residual lipid was 0.83%, felt little sticky, feel good. Scouring the best process test results, when the detergent dosage 7g/L, washing temperature is 55℃, when the washing time was 5min scouring the best. washed wool white, fluffy, soft, wool feel is improved. Starch APG surfactants in wool washing the application area to provide an effective theoretical basis and the necessary technical support.Starch glycoside replace traditional chemical-based liquid surfactant complex with glyphosat according to C8/10 starch glycoside product excellent surface activity and wetting resistance,10% C8/10 starch and 2% of the additive compound glycosides formed with glyphosate herbicide liquid through outdoor experimental performance results and determination of liquid mixtures, starch glycoside surfactant that good wetting and low foaming unique and high foam stability is its excellent performance a good basis for weeding effect.Sweet potato starch glycoside surfactant synthesis as glycosides of surfactant raw materials to develop a new approach, performance, experimental results show that starch glycoside surfactants and alkyl glucoside surfactants with different aspects for different Field of study provides a theoretical basis, with a gradual increase awareness of environmental protection and the increasing depletion of petrochemical raw materials, starch glycoside surfactant will become a focus for researchers.
