The internationa l economic development experience shows that the advancedservice is a concentrated expression and an important symbol of moderniza tions for acountry or a region. Service industry has become to be a major industry in the nationa leconomy, and it is one of the major driving forces to promote economic growth as well asthe susta inable development, which shows that the service economy has come. The rapidgrowth of producer service is the most noteworthy phenomenon in the development ofservice industry. In the major developed countries, producer servic es has accounted formore tha n 50% of all services, becoming the new force of the globa l economy. At present, the globa l fina ncia l crisis is spreading, and there is increasing uncertainties la id ahead inthe development of China's economy, therefore, developing modern producer service isone of the best ways to help us to recover from the fina ncia l crisis. However, from thecurrent situation of the province in China, there is still a big blind ness that thedevelopment of service industry in genera l will be positioned just advanced services, andthere are some problems like irrationa l service structure, the low competitiveness thathinders the economic growth, so it is very urgent to coordinate the producer service andthe consumer service, which will improve the overa ll level of producer service in China.Based on the theoretica l analysis, this paper explores the relationship betweenproducer services and specia liza tion, ownership structure, industria l processes, industria lconcentration and openness in the eastern, central and western area by using the paneldata model with the data during the time from 1999 to 2008. The results show that thecontributions to producer services in the eastern region from big to sma ll are the divisionof labor, industria liza tion, the proportion of non-sta te-owned property, industria lclustering and the degree of opening up. While industria l concentrations contributes mostto the producer services in western region, followed by non-sta te-owned property andspecia liza tion.
