Study On Interactive Development Of Producer Services And Manufacture In Jiangsu

Jiangsu province which is a manufacturing base in our country is up against turning to in an innovation-base regions across the country. Some technical character reach the international advanced level, but the whole craft level,production level,research strength have a big disparity between with the developed countries. There are many debates how to narrow these gaps. We know that industrial upgrading is not isolated but interactive in the economic theory. Judging from foreign development experiences, upgrading the manufacturing sector can not do without the support of Producer Services. At both ends of the manufacturing industry chain, such as R&D, Logistics, Brand sales belong to the producer services, have the high added value. So it is meaningful to research the interaction between the Producer Services and Manufacturing.This paper research the two different angles:producer services'spillover effect of manufacture and the manufacture's spillover effect of productive services,analyse the manufacture and producer services interacting development in Jiangsu in order to embark Jiangsu industrial upgrading on a path of continuous innovation. The article comparatively analysis the producer services'consumption of manufacture to analyze the spillover effect by Jiangsu 2000,2007 input-output tables, and get the result that Jiangsu producer services'spillover effect of manufacture is not obvious. Second, we analyze the manufacture's spillover effect of production services by Jiangsu 13 prefecture-level cities'2004-2009 years data. The study show that manufacture output 0.651 unit when the output of producer services increase by 1 unit. From the sub-industry perspective, the two department-information transmission and computer services and software industry, scientific research, technical services and geological prospecting contribute large spillover effect to the manufacture. In the sub-region empirical test results, in the southern region, scientific technical services and geological prospecting department contribute large spillover effect to the manufacture; in the north, manufacture output per capita increase 0.214 unit while information transmission, software services and computer industry sector increased by 1 per unit of output, so we should adapt to local conditions to develop regional economy.There are four interactions in promoting the development of the two department. First,we must open our market to add competitive factor into the market, accelerating the divesiture of Producer services. Second, we should take positive measures to develop Information transmission with Computer services with Software and Scientific research with Technical services with Geological survey. Third,we should build a timely and effective communication platform to reduce the transaction costs of the two departments.Fourth,we should intergrate into the industrial upgrading in the Yangtze River Delta region,relying on regional advantage,strength and achieve common development.
