Internationally, "the third profit source," said the logistics industry has been considered to be the power of economic development and basic industries, and its level of development as a measure of modernization in a country and an important symbol of overall national strength.This article regards Formica Decorative Material Co., Ltd, Shenzhen Office as the object, to present research and exploration of its current logistics situation by a few aspects of analysis, improvement and safeguards, with pointing out the problems of theory and logistics management cost problems.Firstly, with theoretical analysis, expatiate on the cost of the logistics management concepts and content, methods and related theory and investigations from home and aboard, analyze on the cost control of inventory, cost control of transportation, cost control of storage, etc.Secondly, introduce the basis condition of Formica Decorative Material Co., Ltd, Shenzhen Office, analyze its current logistic situation, raise the problems of inventory management, transportation management, storage management, etc.Then, according to problems of inventory management, transportation management, storage management, series of improvement are established, by using ABC Classification for inventory management, using Economic Order Quantities Model, using Houthakker Principle to control the transportation cost, and using logistics information systems to enhance storage cost control, etc.Finally, establish the safeguards to the questions of the current logistic situation in Formica Decorative Material Co., Ltd, Shenzhen Branch.
