In the current process of economic globalization and trade liberalization, the degree of internationalization of every country is continuously improving, and non-tariff barriers are on the decline, such as the traditional quota, licensing and so on. But, because of the increasingly fierce competition in international trade, in particular, the outbreak of the financial crisis has brought challenges to the national trade, out of the protection of self-interest and chase of trade dominance, all countries adopt more subtle and flexible measures to carry out trade protection, such as technical barriers. It has become the most complex and difficult trade barrier in international trade. Especially, the "standard system" as the core of technical barriers to trade is to become the biggest obstacle to international trade today.Basically, the level of a country's standardization activities and standards system is in accordance with the level of economic and technological strength. Therefore, developed countries take advantage of their economic and technological strength, and constantly improve their level of national standardization and the voice and initiative of international standardization activities, they use the standard measures as the most powerful weapon to restrict developing country exports and seek further international trade advantage. On the other hand, the majority of developing countries, due to the constraints of economic and technical weakenss, exist many shortcomings and deficiencies both in the building of domestic standards system or in the confrontation of foreign standards system, which not only affect the international competitiveness of export products and the capacity of market access, but also difficult to protect the interest of domestic market and consumer effectively. It can be said that the lack of standard system has become a major constraint to trade development of developing country. As the continuous improvement of China's economic and technological strength and the emphasis on national standardization activities, all levels of the standards system in our country has made considerable progress and played a important role both in promoting the quality and grade of China's export products, or in the protection of the domestic market and consumer interests. But, after all, the present level of standards system in China have very different compared with developed countries, there are some sectors still very weak or even missing, which brought huge losses to the development of China's import and export trade. Therefore, to continuously strengthen and improve our standard system has become effective and essential in international trade competition to gain trade advantage under the new situation. This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduces the related concepts of standard system, then discusses some basic theories of this article, and finally analysis the relationship of standard and trade from the angle of TBT, international trade competition and trade protection. Chapter two analyse the trade effects of the standard system, and in the analysis process we divide all the particitating states into two groups(strong and weak) according to the trade power in the world and analyse the trade effect from two angle respectively, the aim is to draw more realistic conclusions. The third chapter use the tool of evolutionary game model to analyse the evolution mechanisms of the standard system on the basis of data of trade effect in various stages conclude from the last chapter. The fourth chapter as the extention of chapter two and Chapter three analyse the core content of the article-the trade effect and evolution mechanisms of our standards system using the data and examples, combining with analyse of standard system in developed countries, pointing out the flaws and deficiencies of our standar syetem at present. Chapter five put forward countermeasures for our atandard system from the macro (government perspective), meso (industry associations perspective) and micro (business perspective) angle, hoping to promote the continuous improvement of our standard level of dominance in international trade and access to benefits.
