Nowadays, most of the developed countries in the world have come upon the stage of aging society, while many developing countries are around the corner. China, the country with the largest population in the world, not only has the greatest aging population, but also is one of the countries with high aging rate.The aging of China makes old people tourism become a crucial part of tourist industry market. Since 1990s, the old people tourist industry keep increasing by 3% per year. There are still some problems before the old people tourism industry becomes an efficient path of improving the aging people living quality, inspiring tourism economy increase and inheriting the culture of respecting the elderly.This paper states the research on the old people's tourism desire and conduct, and makes the analysis on the elements that affect old people's choice on tourism. It shows that the personal elements as age, state of health, monthly income, education and spare time, as well as other social elements such as environmental culture, family, service of travel agency and etc, prominently affect the choice of the old people. Due to the problems in the current market of the old people tourism, we have to take many measures to develop it.
