It undertook a comprehensive eco-econo divisions for 121 towns of Dalian city on the basis of learning available theories and methods from two points:(1) The dissertation analyzed the content, leading thoughts, principles and theory foundation of eco-economic divisions, and explore the methods and technology system..On this basis, the study fortherly proposed writing route and the zoning process;(2) In the empirical orgy, the article adoption qualitative and quantitative measures choose related indexes from economic, social and eco-environmental factors and utilized SAS software to conduct principle component factor and cluster analysis for all datas. Then through analyzing the case of Dalian city,it regulated the result of zoning. Finally the whole area was divided four partes, including the coastal eco-economic zone, the coastal radiation zone, the central-city eco-economic zone as well as the central-city radiation zone. In the end this put forward to the corresponding advices and strategies. The main innovation of this paper is when extracting the original indexes,we used principle component factor by group, which is different from previous literatures.Because eco-economic zone is always regarded as an integrated system that includes environment, social construction, economic development and so on.Through access to extensive referrences, we found that the eco-economic divisions of towns is less due to the limition of human and material resources. So the paper used the Dalian City 2006 Agricultural Census Data for micro-zoning.
