A Study On Development Of Symbiotic Type Of Tourism Leisure Industry Cluster

With the rapid development of economy and increasing leisure time, leisure consumption has become an important part of life and the first engine of economic growth. Therefore, leisure industry cluster phenomenon becomes a focus of academic attention. Hangzhou is branded as "East city with leisure and quality life". Its development of leisure industry will be an example for all over the country. In recent years, Hangzhou efforts to cultivate cuisine, tea bar, entertainment, spa resort, health care, makeup, cloth, sports, baby and arts as the ten industries which could be short named as the "Ten special and potential industry" and made a significant effect. Author believes that the development of "Ten special and potential industry" conforms to current trends of symbiotic development of industry cluster, which is a symbiotic type of tourism leisure industry cluster. The systematical research on this subject has its great importance both in theory and practice. Firstly, on the foundation of referring relevant literature on industrial cluster theory and the symbiotic theory, this thesis defines the symbiotic type of tourism leisure industry cluster as a symbiont which include a number of different types of tourism leisure industry.These industry gather in a certain area and hatch a new strategic partnership from the competing in resources and passenger flow, encouraging a full range of internal and inter-industry interaction and integration in forms, resources, markets, brand, information, industry, environment and systems integration, resulting in coupling linkage of competition and cooperation in tourism and leisure, which will eventually build symmetrical symbiotic relationship. Secondly, the author analyzes the elements, symbiosis characteristics and energy of symbiotic type of tourism leisure industry cluster as well as its foundation of forming from the qualitative parameters of compatibility, environmental and government. The author believes that the very reason give birth to "Ten special and potential industry" as a symbiotic industry interface. This interface is a comprehensive social subject rather than a simple sum of industry which achieve the ultimate goal which subdivided into cooperation among companies of internal industry, cross-industry alliance, interactive between tourism industry and other industries and market-oriented by the function of transferring material, information and energy. Of course, ten special and potential industry of Hangzhou is still in the early stage of formation, so the symbiotic interface is the primary interface which exist interface resistance that can't be ignored. In order to optimize the development of symbiotic type of tourism industry cluster of Hangzhou, the thesis devise five strategies and solutions as follows:cooperate with tourism industry deeply; accelerate the process of cross-industry alliance; improve leisure experience; implement integrated marketing strategies; train human resources.
