Research On China's Machinery Industry Trade Competitiveness In The Post-Crisis Era

China's equipment manufacturing industry has made remarkable achievements after 50 years of development and has become an important pillar industries for economic development. However, the weak ability of independent innovation, high dependence on foreign, irrational industrial structure, weak international competitiveness, which caused China's equipment manufacturing industry the low level of product technology, lack of market competitiveness, the high-end market accounted by foreign brands for long-term, the dischange phenomenon of foreign brands dominance. Certain domestic related companies and R & D organizations have also suggested developing the high-end products, but because of technical reserves, lack of funds, long development cycle and other factors, has been unable to form a complete system of independent R & D and superior products,which cause some products' development and competitiveness ability of the domestic machinery industry have severe defects. With the post-crisis era-the global economy into a relatively stable period, China's machinery industry is also facing new development opportunities.This paper aims to measure the level of trade competitiveness by studying the import and export trade deficit data of machinery industry and the introduction of trade competitiveness index(TC). On the basis of that,there are quantitative analysis and analysis of the reasons for the lack of competitiveness of machinery industry perspective by the diamond system, and finally draw conclusions and make relevant policy recommendations.This generally is divided into five parts. The first chapter is an introduction, that contains a brief overview of the research background, significance, status and research content and ideas. The second chapter analyzes the current situation for the machinery industry. This chapter focuses on the import and export situation of the various sub-sectors of machinery industry in recent years, and then analyzes the relevant factors of the lack of competitiveness of the whole machinery industry. The third chapter is measure of trade competitiveness of the machinery industry. This chapter will build ternary regression model to inspect the relationship between the sub-sectors' trade competitiveness of China machinery industry and the sub-sectors' comprehensive technical level, independent research and development capabilities, the overall competitiveness level generally. Chapter IV will build on the "Diamond System" to analyze the reasons for China's machinery industry lack of competitiveness. Separately from the factors of production, demand conditions, related supporting industries and enterprises' business strategy and structure, and competitive ways between the industries to relationship to the interaction,which investigate to the International Competitiveness of China's machinery industry. The fifth chapter elaborates related policy recommendations about China's machinery industry in the post-crisis era.
