Study On International Factoring And It's Application In China

International Factoring,which originated in the 16th century,after several centuries' development,has been widely used in the developed countries of Europe and the United States.According to statistics, international factoring is as high as 70%in the import and export trade in the developed countries.International Factoring was introduced into China in the last 20l century and has been used widely in international trade in recent years,but,overall,it does not match with our size and great nation status of international trade.The reasons are,on the one hand,the quality of international factoring practitioners needs to be improved,on the other hand,export enterprises'understanding is inadequate.Currently,as the world economic recovery is slow,the developed countries'trade protectionism intensified and market competition is becoming intense,our country's pressure to increase exports increased,foreign trade development is faced with many uncertain,unstable factors,against this background expand our country's international factoring application is much of practical significance.This article consists of four parts:Part I (first two chapters),the main-outlines of relevant knowledge about factoring,including its origin and classification, international factoring's definition,applicable conditions and relevant international organizations:FCI and IFQand explanation of relevant laws.The second part (Chapter III) analyze international impact of the real business from the perspective of the importer and exporter:choose two factors system for example to explain the operation process of international factoring;using a real case of a Chinese textile export business as background,detailed analyze the international factoring's actual positive impact of expanding export,financing and risk control.Through contrast the International Factoring and other settlement,financing modes to explain what should be considered in choosing international factoring.The third part (Chapter IV) describes:First, analyze the outlook of international factoring application in FCI members visually through figures and tables.Second,summarize the advanced experience in FCI members;third, though charts and related statistical data,from various angles,analyze the international factoring application status in China.The fourth part (chapter V) on the basis of the previous discussion,integrates the current macroeconomic situation at home and abroad, proposes we should expand international factoring in China:by analyzing the obstacles of its application in our country,investigate international factoring application's significance and feasibility in our country,and put forward expansion policy recommendations.
