The native banks appeared in Henan province before and after the Opium War, with the development of the times, increasing the number, distribution, increasingly widespread, but often started with the collapse in the changes.Tongheyu bank founded in 1912, was established in Xinxiang, Henan, to 1.2 million started, after 20 years of development, finance, business, social undertakings have made great achievements and become the largest bank in North China . By 1933, it opened with 41 associated, 55 businesses, 3 schools, and have their own hospitals and the telephone office, forming a comprehensive enterprise. In the management process, Tongheyu bank formed some business concept: various development, make celebrities, customer first, focus on reputation ,paying attention to the information, reuse talents. But by 1933, due to their own business mistakes in the bank's competitive exclusion, the government crackdown on banks restrictions and Wang Yanqing personal ambitious, opinionated personality defects.Tonghe yu bank appeared and quickly closed. Government and the Banks and the margin of silver in the number of relief with the process, own ax to grind, do not make the final margin with silver numbers and the resumption of business success.In 1937 in October, Xinxiang judicial ruling Tongheyu bank bankruptcy.
