Economy hotel catches more and more tourists' eyes in the 21st century, and the economy hotel grows fast. Meanwhile, the market competition becomes fiercer. Only pays attention to the cultivation and maintenance of core competence, economy hotel could obtain sustained competitive advantage and sustainable development. At present China's economy hotels mainly in monomer form of the hotel to operate, which is a lack of professional management. Its positioning is not clear, quality of service is not high, less competitive and so on. However, the theory about strategic alliance of economy hotel is still imperfect and the strict scientific system has not been formed so far, and it waits for further research on the hotel management. In view of this, the author researches on the cultivation and maintenance of economy hotel and its core competence, then puts forward the proposals and countermeasures to the operation situation of economy hotel in China. It is helpful to further development of economy hotel.In this study the author use the methods of literature and questionnaire survey.This study introduces the domestic and international economy hotels, as well as the relevant theory of strategic alliances, and then put forward the conception of strategy alliance of economy hotel. By analyzing the strategic alliance research in related fields and the score of experts, the author obtain the influencing factors of the successful operation of strategic alliance of economy hotel, they are match of members, cultural synergy, members of the leadership, trust mechanisms, regulatory mechanisms and alliance agreement. The thesis designs a theoretical model, carries out three kinds of SPSS analysis on data obtained through questionnaire survey, including factor analysis, correlation analysis as well as regression analysis. And on the base of the regression equation of employee performance and organizational performance, suggestions and proposals are put forward by the author for the successful formation and operation of strategic alliance. They are development of core competence of economy hotel, strengthening the dependence and relations between economy hotel leaders and alliance, promoting cultural coordination of economy hotel, training mutual trust among alliance partners, establishing normative inspective mechanism, and appropriate alliance agreement.
