Research On The Landscape Resource Protection And Tourism Development In Culai Mountain National Forest Park

The forest parks, which are the trends of social and economical development, have become important areas of protection of the precious forest resource and the development of tourism. Recently, Culai Mountain National Forest Park (CNFP) becomes an important part of the spatial pattern of Mountain Tai tourism, and is also the optimum traveling choice for local inhabitants and tourists. However, the systemic research about CNFP is very limiting. Furthermore, CNFP is suffering destruction as a result of the improper constructions.This study regards CNFP as a research object and uses the relevant theories of Sustainable-development and Ecotourism as a support. Using document research, on-the-spot investigation and classification analysis, and based on investigation of tour-and-landscape resources and SWOT analysis, we'diagnosed'the driving forces and resistance for the development of CNFP tourism. According to the'diagnostic'results, we put forward constructive suggestions for tourism development, and deeply discussed the problem of resident social-adjustment in the park. Furthermore, according to the'diagnostic'results, we presented corresponding protective measures from aspects of natural ecosystems, humanity resource and regional characteristic. Finally, we summarized'three-step strategy'for sustainable-development of forest-park tourism, i.e.'diagnosis','prescription'and'cure'. We further pointed out that the effective policy assuring the sustainable-development of the tourism is to found uniform chain of command.
