Currently, renewable energy and intelligrid develops very quickly in many countries in the world, and large-scale energy storage technology already becomes the technology bottleneck needing the prompt breakthrough. As a government strategy, China and many developed countries attach great importance to and support energetically to large-scale energy storage technology. RK, a new V battery manufacturer, is confronted with more and more fierce market competition.This Paper summarizes the global macroscopic environment of large-scale energy storage technology development, analyses the characteristic, present research status, problem and challenge of available various technology. After studying RK's current situation, developing trend and its competitors, this Paper analyses RK's core competitive power and its competitive environment by using SWOT analysis. On market segmentation result basis, the Paper purposes "Hundred kWs system for off-grid application" as RK's target market.This Paper emphatically analyses V battery's characteristic as a high-tech innovative product, and its product life cycle, then points out that RK's V battery is in introduction stage and RK must focus on rapid sales and market shares as strategic objective, and all Product, Price, Place and Promotion strategy have to be suitable for high-tech innovative product in introduction stage, to ensure that changing technological and core competitive power superiority into market share advantage as soon as possible.
