Since the year 1992, China has been the largest developing countering to attract foreign investment for 16 years. Jiangsu and Guangdong provinces attracted much foreign investment, compared with other provinces. At this stage, the sectoral distribution of FDI(Foreign Direct Investment) in Jiangsu Province, status of the way using FDI, the relation between FDI and foreign trade competitiveness of different products from different companies, how different companies affect trade competitiveness of their products, with the methods of qualitative analysis, comparative analysis, correlation analysis, econometric study, the paper researches every aspect.Based on scholars'studies on FDI and Foreign Trade, the first chapter describes the research background, research home and abroad, innovative and inadequacies in this paper. Chapter II is mechanism of FDI affect foreign trade competitiveness. Chapter III studies the overview about FDI in Jiangsu province affect foreign trade competitiveness. Analyze the trend of development from scale of FDI in JiangSu province, the source structure, and industrial distribution, and the principal means. In terms of competitive analysis, chapter IV studies the impact FDI in Jiangsu's foreign to trade competitiveness empirically, from the total volume of trade. The paper strive to be able to in-depth study the foreign direct investment in Jiangsu Province, and the impact of foreign trade competitiveness. Chapter V presents conclusions and policy recommendations. Primarily summaries according to the previous chapters of the paper, and promote appropriate policy recommendations for trade problems in using foreign direct investment in the process of development of Jiangsu. So the article not only has theories guiding significance, but has the significance of a more practical application.
