With the rapid development of China's foreign trade, electronic information products export trade increased rapidly and it has become China's first largest category of export products. But we have to face these problems, such as currency appreciation, structural imbalance, over-investment, price volatility and other macroeconomic pressures, with the rapid development of foreign trade growth. Tariff and non-tariff barriers about electronic information products appear frequently. In this context, China's implementation of export-oriented growth strategy is undergoing a transformation. The implications on electronic information products of the export tax rebate as a transition tool for trade regulation become increasingly evident.By the systematic analysis about the theoretical principles of the export tax rebate, this paper focused on the macro and micro-effects of electronic information products export tax rebates on its export structure , as well as the impact of size, sensitivity. In order to facilitate the use of export tax rebates, we should consider the different sensitivities of electronic information products, and adopt different export tax rebate policy to optimize the electronic information products export structure continuously.I use econometric models to analyze the impact of the export tax rebate on China's electronic information products trade in the process of the empirical analysis. First I study the impact of the amount of the export tax rebate on electronic information products trade. And then I study the impact of the actual tax rate on electronic information products trade through indirect method. Finally by introducing the concept of sensitivity, I study the different impact of export tax rebates on different types electronic information products he degree of response differences. Empirical results show that the export tax rebates not only has a great role in promoting China's electronic information products export trade, but also has different impact for various types of electronic information products. Therefore in order to optimize electronic information products export structure, we need to consider both total exports of electronic information products and their sensitivity of each type of electronic information products.
