Research On Improving Of HX Bank Customer's Credit Rating System

At present, credit risk is still the main risk in Chinese commercial banks. Customer's credit rating is an important means of credit risk management. As an emerging commercial bank, HX Bank needs to improve the present system of customer's credit rating. Research on the theory and method of customer's credit rating has an important theoretical and practical significance to HX Bank for reducing credit risk and improving core competitiveness.This dissertation starts with the theory of customer's credit rating, introducing the concept, characters of customer's credit rating and its role in risk management. Then be combined with the use of theoretical analysis and positive analysis, this dissertation points out that the existing system has many problems in the authenticity and the adequacy of rating data, rating organizations system, rating indicator system settings and rating result applications, and further analyses the main cause of the above problems.On the basis of the above analysis, this dissertation comes up with an improving design proposal.This proposal on the one hand redesigns the ratings organizations and processes, on the other hand designs a suitable credit rating indicator system to HX Bank, and put it in rating practice.This dissertation ends with supporting measures to implement the improving credit rating system. These supporting measures include:the establishment of customers credit database and management information system, the construction of rating personnel, extending the use of credit rating, the construction of credit culture, strengthening trade cooperation.The improving proposal and measures of HX Bank customer's credit rating have a positive significance for promoting the ability of preventing credit risk and improving standards of customer's credit rating.
