Measurement And Countermeasures On The Sustainable Development Of The Poyang Ecological Economy Zone

Adjustment of economic structure, transforming of development mode and the pursuit of sustainable development have become not only the common goal of humanity, but also the main trends of times development. As the "Poyang eco-economic region planning" had been replied officially by state council on December 12 in 2009, it means constructing the Poyang eco-economic zone in a high-level to realize economic and social sustainable development of the whole province has stepped to be national strategy. In recent years, Jiangxi has made great achievements on economic, but it still faces a series of problems, such as economic structure, resources, environment and etc. They are all restricting the sustainable development of regional economy. Therefore, doing a research on sustainable development status of Poyang ecological economic zone is not only a good thing to construct Poyang eco-economic region so as to realizing the integration of "ecologic province" and "green rise" in Jiangxi, but also important reference and practical significance to the construction of ecological economic zone of our country.This thesis regarded Poyang eco-economic region as the research subject, using ecological footprint model and principal component analysis respectively estimated the degree of the ecological, economic and social sustainable development, then weighted them and gave a comprehensive measurement and evaluation. According to the calculated results, we finally determined their weights are 0.42,0.34,0.24. Meanwhile, the thesis introduced the concepts of "the degree of regional sustainable development" on the basis of referring to expert's research results both in domestic and abroad, and made a comprehensive analysis on the Poyang eco-economic region sustainable development status. The conclusions are as follows:(1)During the years of 2004-2008, economic and social sustainable ability of Poyang eco-economic region is growing, and the synthetically ability of sustainable development are also on the rise, but ecologically sustainable development ability is falling.(2)Due to the population and the ecological footprint of the Poyang eco-economic region continuously increasing, the environmental bearing capacity became smaller and smaller, which is the main cause for the emergence of ecological pressures.(3)As a whole, the millon yuan GDP ecological footprint of the Poyang eco-economic region is too high, but resources utilization are relatively low, and the two factors intensified the region's ecological pressure.(4)According comprehensive assess to the sustainable development of the Poyang eco-economic region, the government should take relevant policies and measures to reduce the ecological footprint, economic development and promoting social progress from the angle of ecology, economy and society.
