Since reform and opening up, with rapid economic development of Dalian, most people's income and living standards have got obvious improvement. Meanwhile, the income distribution has also undergone a series of changes and urban-rural income gap has become increasingly prominent. How to deal with the income gap is related to the economic development and social stability. Dalian, as a leading city of Northeast China's reform and opening up cities, is one of the fastest economic and social development growing cities in the north. Dalian's development has played a very strong model role in the northeast region and even in the North. Therefore, this paper selected the income gap between urban and rural residents in Dalian to study and this has a strong reference for the northeast region to promote the coordinated development of urban and rural economy. This paper takes the dual economic theory, Kuznets inverted "U" hypothesis, endogenous growth theory as the methods and theoretical support, deeply analysis the economic factors and institutional factors of the income gap between urban and rural residents in Dalian. With R/S fractal analysis and traditional econometric approach, this paper gives an empirical study on the trends and affecting factors of the income gap between urban and rural residents in Dalian since the reform and opening up and gives the corresponding policy recommendations on how to reduce the income gap between urban and rural in Dalian more effectively. The main text content and basic conclusions are as follows: The first part is an introduction, briefly introduced the research background and the review on the income gap at home and abroad. The second part used the Kuznets inverted U hypothesis and the R/S fractal approach to analysis and forecast the evolution of trend of the income gap between urban and rural residents in Dalian City. First examine the income gap between urban and rural residents in Dalian status, and then verify the income gap between urban and rural residents in Dalian meet the Kuznets inverted U-hypothesis. Using Kuznets inverted U-curve of Dalian City, determine the future trends of the income gap between urban and rural residents and draw the conclusion that with the continuous economic development of Dalian, the income gap between urban and rural residents in Dalian will be steadily reduced. Use the partition function method to determine that the difference time seriesηu-ηr between the Dalian urban and rural incomes relative coefficient is the single fractal structure, then use R/S fractal method to determine the sequence continuity to analyze and forecast Dalian urban and rural income gap trend. The third part introduced the economic growth theory at first and built factors model of urban-rural income distribution gap with endogenous growth theory, then made regression analysis through Dalian statistical data to describe and analyze the various factors. PartⅣis on how to reduce the Dalian urban and rural income distribution gap more effectively. Here are the corresponding policy recommendations: improve the dual social and economic structure in Dalian, establish "both efficiency and fairness" principle and change the pattern of income distribution in Dalian; speed up economic reform in Dalian, vigorously promote the economic development of Dalian; promote employment and reduce poverty; gradually improve the social security system, improve the income of urban residents in low-income levels; optimize the structure of education, increase the investment in education; optimize the industrial structure, vigorously develop the state-owned economy. The innovation of this paper are:use Kuznets inverted U-hypothesis and the fractal theory for evolution trend analysis and forecasting on the income gap between urban and rural residents in Dalian; build econometric models with endogenous growth theory to make empirical analysis on the rural income gap factors in Dalian.Inadequacies of this paper are that because some data is not available, making the error of regression larger and not precise enough. In addition, the paper relates only two aspects to the income gap between urban and rural residents and income gap between urban and rural residents with other aspects of this issue does not do further analysis.
