This context studies the US-Japan trade friction from World War II, the beginning of the US-Japan trade friction-cotton textile trade friction, the rising in US-Japan trade friction-steel and automotive trade friction, until the post-Cold War US-Japan trade agreement negotiations and the beginning of new century, from a historical overview to summarize the main forms and extreme performance of US-Japan trade friction, and the reason for the change between the two countries and the world economy. Our analysis found that Japan adopted export-oriented policies, highly dependent on foreign trade to develop its national economy, resulting surge in exports to the U.S., triggering trade frictions between the United States and Japan; and then, in order to resolve trade frictions between the two countries, Japan has taken a series of measures, such as:voluntary export restrictions, upgrade the industrial structure, foreign direct investment, expanding domestic demand, the appreciation of the yen, those methods are very useful for China, which is rapid development in the new period, to deal with international trade friction.Our study including:1, Analysis of the US-Japan trade friction. There are many reasons for the US-Japan trade friction, our paper try to analyze main reasons of US-Japan trade friction from Japan's economic policy, international system, the US-Japan economic industrial structure. By preliminary analysis, the author found:after Word War, Japan adhered the "trading power" strategy, dependent on foreign trade of developing national economy, then it had a rapid growth period, Japanese formed a sound economic structure, covered all economic sectors and formed various industries, relied on distinctive features of U.S. trade. The result is that:with the development of Japan and United States, Japan surge in U.S. exports, which triggered the US-Japan trade friction. In that process, Japan had taken measures to upgrade the industrial structure, leading to the US-Japan trade friction intensified, resulting in the increasing scope of trade frictions, the focus of trade friction and the tendency of high value-added high technology, the means to resolve trade friction from the import and export coordination of the economic system to adjust steering, and even issues related to the economic system caused by inter-state politics issues.2, The economy influence between the two countries and the world after US-Japan trade friction. The US-Japan trade friction last a very Long time, it gives profound impact to the United States and Japan, also the world economy. The US-Japan economic and trade imbalances caused the trade friction between the U.S. and Japan, and trade friction against the yen and the dollar felling further affect the two economies, friction between the two economic giants intensified the international financial turbulence; and the US-Japan trade friction gave a certain impact to the alliance between the two countries; it also transferred the center of the world economy, the Asia-Pacific region continue to be promoted economic status.3, Analysis of US-Japan trade friction response, especially the Japan's response, its measures promote Japan's economic restructuring and industrial upgrading, made the Japanese economy more competitive.4, Finally, through analyzing the US-Japan trade friction response, we further refined, learn their lessons for China's handling the international trade friction. We hope to eliminate or reduce to China trade frictions with other countries, help China maintenance and develop a good national economic and political relation, so to improve China's global political and economic status of a certain theoretical and practical significance.In summary, this study of the development process of the US-Japan trade friction, causes, impact on the economy, and other aspects of response measures system, and ultimately also provide a series of reference views for China's handling of trade friction.
