A Study On The Great Leap Forward In Development In Gansu Based On The Theory Of Advantage Of Backwardness

Through analysis of the economic growing situation in Gansu, find out the gap between Gansu and the average economic development level in China, center on the policy draw up by State Council of further support the economic and society development in Gansu, and the growth pole:"Lanzhou-Baiyin Metropolitan Area" has already taken shape, the paper analysis the necessity and feasibility of the strategy, etc.But all above is based on qualitative analysis, the core content of this research, is from the quantitative angle of view to analyze the advantage of backwardness in Gansu. The paper empirical studied the rate of contribution of technology progress in Gansu's economic growth, and constructing a model, which contains the elements in technology progress how to affect the productivity in Gansu, find out the technology gap is a prominence factor to stimulate economic growth in Gansu in the future. And through draw the institution element into a new model, the article find out the institution environment is the most notable factor to restrict the economic development in Gansu.The last part of the paper is the related suggestions, in terms of financial investment support, industrial structure adjustment, introduce the advanced technology and promote the development of non-public sectors of the economy.
