Research On Port Piece-Rate System Based On Multi-Agent

With the deepening of global economic integration, port is playing an increasingly important role in international trade. Therefore, the requirements of modern port management are also increasing. In port business, piece-rate is still the main form of payment, but with the development of port information, the original manual calculation methods and calculation-based piecework wage system has been unable to meet the practical needs.In this paper, using Guangzhou Port Group's information technology status as a research background, combined with multi-agent technology from artificial intelligence, author analyzed the status of manufacturing operations in Guangzhou Port Group, and studied the piece-rate work's process of each companies in depth. Knowing the complex cases, cumbersome process and flexibility rules in piece-rate work, aim to solve the shortcomings of traditional piece-rate system which is lack in intelligent and adaptability, so as to adapt to the current piece-rate environment of new features, Author introduced multi-agent Technology into the piece-rate system, established an overall model of piece-rate system, which is based on multi-agent, and uses J2EE as platform. Furthermore, author described the function of each part of the system, and designed the system communication mechanism between different agents.In this paper, author presented a general model of the piece-rate system based on multi-agent, in purpose to improve the calculating accuracy and efficiency, the piece-rate system integrates with the data and function of operation-ticket system, and records the piece-rate rules Knowledge completely. The piece-rate system acquires the operation data, matches piece rules, calculates the piece wage, assigns the wage, and statistic piece wage automatically; Author established a flexible rule base to respond to frequent changes in rules of the piece, after analysis of many factors which affect the wage. Author implemented the piece-rate system based on J2EE platform. Using of multi-agent technology, piece-rate system is more intelligent, adaptive and autonomous, it can resolve the problems of current system effectively, such as difficulty to maintain, low efficiency, inflexibility. It has universal significance for Port Enterprises.
