The Research On The Bearing Steel Technology Development Strategy Of Dongbei Special Steel Group

With the putting forward of developing equipment manufacturing industry strategy, our country's bearing industry in recent years has been rapidly developed. But, the rising prices of raw materials, the backward hot-working technology, and the low R&D and innovation ability are also big problem. Dongbei Special Steel Group, which is made up by three Original key state-owned special steel companies in northeast, is the main research and production base of high-grade bearing steel in China, and its bearing steel production quality keeps domestic advanced level. In this paper, based on bearing steel technology of Dongbei Special Steel Group as the research object, with SWOT companies'competitive situation analysis method for framework, the author makes further research on its technology development strategy using the method of patentometrics analysis and investigation in company.Domestic and foreign relevant technical development strategies are not rare, but few of these is about bearing steel development strategies, especially nobody research the strategies with the method of patentometrics analysis. So, this paper analyses strategies from the Angle of patent analysis with SWOT companies'competitive situation analysis method for framework. Secondly, this paper analyses social environment, technological environment and technological competition as three aspects of external technology environment. Especially, with the method of patent analysis, this paper clears the international competition of bearing steel technology, international competitors and the domestic rivals of Dongbei Special Steel Group in bearing steel technology areas, and the opportunities and threats which Dongbei Special Steel Group is facing. Thirdly, this paper analyses the condition of production, technical and R&D capability, and marketing and Management capacity as the three aspects of internal resource situation, and expounds the Strengths and weaknesses of Dongbei Special Steel Group's bearing steel technology development. Finally, Based on the analysis of external environment and internal resources, the author uses the SWOT analysis to draw out the SWOT matrix, and formulates a strategy for Dongbei Special Steel Group's bearing steel technology through the analysis of its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.Through the research of Dongbei Special Steel Group's bearing steel technology strategy, this paper get the core argument that the Group should implement the patent strategy, quality differentiation strategy, joint research strategies and standardization strategy, strengthen awareness of intellectual property rights, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, improve the industrial chain management, adhere to the people-oriented principle, strive to promote the technology center, enhance the core competitiveness of bearing steel products in the international market, and make Dongbei Special Steel Group to be an international top science and technology steel company.
