Credit Rating Of SMEs For Logistics Financial Services By Commercial Bank

SMEs in China have now become the main force developing the market economy. But its long-standing problem of financing has become a hot issue concerned both by SMEs and the academic. The reason are on one hand the commercial banks are not reluctant to lend money against financial risks, and on the other hand the commercial banks'existing credit rating system aims at large enterprises, excluding SMEs which are more likely exposed to fund shortage. At the same time, while commercial banks'operating environment has undergone tremendous changes with gradually increasing competition, so commercial banks face huge challenge; on the other hand with the rapid development of the logistics industry, the traditional commercial banking business has difficulty meeting the financing needs of modern logistics. These realities require commercial banks to break the existing limitations of traditional financial services, and create new type of logistics finance business according to the development needs of the logistics industry.Therefore, this paper collects a great deal literature about logistics finance and credit rating, analyzes the development status and characteristics of SMEs and the financing situation in China, and proposes building a commercial bank logistics financial services rating system for SMEs. The system includes own independent rating of SME customers, logistics or supply chain core business evaluation, and logistics financial supporting factors evaluation.Response to the growing whole, combination of logistics financial business model to carry out credit rating study for SMEs in the logistics finance business will be able to grasp the profound study of the logistics finance development trend and help solve the difficult problem of SME financing.
